Canon PowerShot SD850IS

For a point and shoot camera, this little gem packs a lot of advanced features. It’s definitely not a DSLR but it’s sure convenient when you want to conceal it and carry it with you in your pocket.
Pros:
1) Red-eye correction. No more red-eyes! It automatically fixes them.
2) Image stabilization. Will correct your hand Read More »

Canon PowerShot SD950IS

This is a great camera. It takes excellent pics. I love the face recognition, and the ability to correct red-eye on the camera. It is a sturdy camera with lots of features. I have only had it a couple of months, but think it was well worth the money. I also like the fact that it is small, but powerful. I love the slr’s, but do not always have room to carry a large camera. My last two digital cams were Kodak and they were ok, but the picture Read More »

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3K

The DMC-TZ3 boasts 7.2 megapixels and a large, 3.0-inch LCD, and goes a step beyond their predecessor by featuring a 28mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens. While the 10x zoom lets you take close-up shots even when you cannot move closer to your subject, the wide-angle lens is helpful in situations where you cannot step back or move away from the subject. With the TZ3, you can capture portraits of people with expansive scenery or large Read More »

Nikon D40x digital slr camera

see more pics here The D40x is a 10 megapixel upgrade to their popular D40 camera (6mp), and this package features the same 18-55 zoom.

As with it’s 6mp twin, the D40x is one of the smallest DSLRs on the market, but is shaped as well for the hands as any of the smaller series (such as the Canon XTi). Trade-offs for the smaller size are a less powerful battery and a smaller viewfinder. Read More »

Canon PowerShot SD870IS

see more pics hereThe SD870 IS is about everything you could want in a compact point and shoot digital camera. It offers excellent image quality, a large vivid LCD display, intelligent defaults, fine low-light sensitivity, a high quality movie mode (with sound), an outstanding wide-angle lens and (most importantly for me) a photo capture speed that leaves many other digital cameras in the dust. Canon ZR830 MiniDV Camcorder

January 25th, 2008 by admin

see more pics hereThis camera is a wonderful choice for those looking to make professional movies, or tape family gatherings, or whatever. You can either record onto a mini dv tape, or a memory card. The camera is fairly easy to navigate (although not quite as easy as previous models of this series that I have used.) It can record in widescreen or fullscreen, has an excellent zoom lens, and a handy picture stablizer that will compensate for shakiness on hand-held shots. The transfer quality is very good, which is useful for editing purposes and/or burning DVDs Read More »
