In a terrific vehicle chase, Indiana Jones and his team attempt a daring river escape in an amphibious vehicle built to travel on both water and land. But the soldiers have a boat of their own, and they’re in hot pursuit. Look out for the net trap, the snapping crocodile and snakes. River Chase is the first Indiana Jones set we purchased. The blocks are a good selection amongst the grey, brown, and green color groups and will be useful for other projects as well.
Durability is always a mixed back with Lego sets. This is no different. The car and raft are very durable. The tree stand is much less so. We’ve had it for several weeks and the car has been tossed in and out of the Lego bin, stepped on, dropped, and generally treated like you’d expect a 5-year old to treat it. It is still in one piece.
Overall, the set is great. 2 Russian soldiers, Indy (with his trademark whip), and Marion are great minifigs. The croc and snakes just add to the collection.
